Generosity Week 2024 is fast approaching, and whether your church is using this particular week to explore giving and generosity, or some other time of year, the Generous Giving Team would like to invite you to our latest clinic days being held this summer.
Clinics will take place between 9.30am and 4.30pm at Church of the Good Shepherd, Battle Hill and on Monday 15th July and St Columba’s Church, Wideopen on Thursday 18th July.
The team will be running individual sessions over the course of each day, covering a variety of topics detailed below. Attendees are welcome to join as many or as few sessions as they wish but all sessions must be booked in advance using the booking links.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided but if you're staying for the full day we recommend bringing a packed lunch or buying lunch locally.

| A brand new session to help parishes create effective communications that set out the need for and importance of regular giving in our parish churches. | A session to support parishes keen to develop a faithful reserves policy. Includes an overview of the role of the Church Commissioners and why they hold money on our behalf. | A session to help church leaders talk and preach with confidence and sensitivity about generosity, exploring how Biblical principles relate to everyday life. | How to plan and run a successful stewardship campaign with an opportunity to explore key giving data and statistics. | Learn more about contactless giving, online giving and the use of QR codes to maximise visitor income. | A session suitable for those keen to learn more about PGS, as well as existing or new PGS members looking for tips to increase giver numbers. | Practical support for parishes looking to get started or refocus efforts on encouraging legacy giving. |
