Working with Other Denominations

There are lots of helpful guides and resources on how we can best work with and walk with our sisters and brothers from other churches.

Working Together Locally

In almost every local community, the Church of England serves alongside an increasing number of other Churches. In many places we work extensively with these Churches, through formal and informal partnerships. Find out more on the Church of England website here.

Resources

Ecumenical Resources from the Church of England - this includes key documents such as 'Ecumenical Code of Practice on Cooperation by the Church of England with other churches', 'Church of England (Ecumenical Relations) Measure 1988', and 'Canon B 43 Of Ecumenical Relations'.

The regional office can be contacted at regionalofficer@necat.co.uk or telephone 07932 513 295. They have a Facebook page @northeastchurchesactingtogether.
