On Sunday 30 June, five new deacons were ordained at Newcastle Cathedral by Bishop Helen-Ann.
Lee Kirkby, Claire Lewis, Abi Harris, Francesca Walsh and Jon Grogan were all given a wonderful welcome as friends and loved ones packed the Cathedral.
James Bartle was ordained as Deacon by the Bishop of Beverley on 2 July and Deborah Ehala will be ordanined later in the year.
