This week, 500 Y4 and Y6 pupils from 16 different schools have been welcomed to Newcastle Cathedral for leavers’ services as they prepare to transition to new schools.
Petertide ordinations will take place on Saturday 27 June and Sunday 28 June at Newcastle Cathedral with four people being ordained as priests and two as deacons.
On Saturday 6 December four new Non-Residentiary Canons were installed at Newcastle Cathedral. Jackson, a chorister from Worcester Cathedral, has set himself the challenge of visiting every Anglican Cathedral in England, jumping at each one.
