Holy Trinity Jesmond is seeking a part-time Worship Leader.
Holy Trinity, Jesmond is a welcoming, evangelical, Anglican Church with a diverse congregation that is both gathered and local. The role of the Worship Leader is to work closely with the Vicar and Staff Team, to deepen and encourage a culture of spirit-led worship at our services, to lead, develop and empower our singers and musicians and to help them grow as a team.

We are a lively, welcoming, multigenerational Anglican church with a strong commitment to biblical teaching, worship, discipleship, and outreach. As a church, our heart is to love God, love people, and make Jesus known in our community and beyond.
As we look to the future, we are investing in our team to help us grow deeper in faith and wider in mission. We are now recruiting for three key, part time, roles. Each offers an exciting opportunity to play a part in God’s work in Jesmond and across our locality. These roles are:
- Youth Worker – to disciple and inspire our young people in their faith and everyday lives.
- Worship Leader – to help shape and lead Spirit-filled worship across our services.
- Community Worker – to deepen our connections with the local community and develop new outreach opportunities.
Each role is part time but some could be combined to create a full time post.

The Worship Leader should be a spiritually mature Christian who is living and sharing the values of God’s Kingdom. This person must have a heart for encountering God in worship and have a passion to draw people to Christ through music and other creative ways of worship. He/she should be able to explore and develop ways to deepen corporate worship and to relate and work well with others, showing wisdom, empathy and leadership.
The post is part time and the Worship Leader is expected to work 2 days per week including Sunday and Monday mornings.
The Worship Leader is paid £12.60 - £15.60 per hour or a guide salary of £9,172 - £11,356 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
