We were delighted to welcome the Revd Canon Dr Kelly Brown Douglas to our Diocese last week for her installation as Newcastle Cathedral's first Anglican Communion Canon on Sunday.
On Friday, she joined morning prayer before enjoying breakfast and Eucharist with members of Newcastle Cathedral’s College of Canons.

Afterwards, Dr Douglas took the Metro out to Byker to learn about The Lighthouse Project as the exciting building project nears completion.

On Saturday, the tour of the Diocese continued with trips to both St. Aidan's Bamburgh and Hexham Abbey.
