United against hatred - these faith leaders in Newcastle, including the Bishop of Newcastle, the Right Reverend Christine Hardman, stood shoulder to shoulder to condemn the hate-fuelled vandalism of an Islamic school.
The Bahr Academy on the former Byker Grove site in the city's West End was targeted by thugs last week.
"Moslem terrorists" and a swastika was scrawled on the wall while debris was scattered across the floor.
In response to the hateful crime, leaders of a variety of faiths gathered at the site on Tuesday to send a united and defiant message against the vandals.
