Important advice on using images on your website, publicity materials and social media
When using images on your church website, social media or other publicity materials, please check you have the necessary permissions. Avoid sourcing images from Google or other online sources without proper authorisation, as this may breach copyright law and result in hefty fines. Crediting the photographer does not exempt you from copyright law.
There are a number of places you can obtain free stock images, such as Unsplash, Pexels, Canva or the A Church Near You resource hub.

If taking your own photos, obtaining consent for someone’s inclusion in a photograph or video is crucial. This involves explaining the media’s purpose and potential use, safeguarding individuals’ rights and privacy, and ensuring legal compliance in visual content creation.
