Online Information Sessions

The final part of the RCfE training programme is a series of online information sessions held on Zoom. Each session will last approximately one hour, with a guest presenter followed by a question and answer session. The Zoom sessions are open to anyone connected to any of the 35 RCfE churches in any way, you do not need to be a PCC member.

An introduction to… champing

The idea of champing - or camping in historic churches - was developed by the Churches Conservation Trust. It allows guests to experience a night in an ancient building and is well suited to rural churches where walkers and cyclists can take advantage of the refuge offered by a rural church as part of their holiday or trip, while contributing financially to the upkeep of the church. Fiona Silk, Champing Business Development Officer for CCT, will give an overview of what champing involves, including the practicalities of setting up your church for champing, and answer your questions.
